Stop Paying to Throw Away Pallets
Most businesses pay a waste hauler to remove surplus pallets, spending hundreds or thousands of dollars per month on disposal. Those pallets then end up in a landfill where they slowly decompose and release methane, contributing to greenhouse gas emissions while wasting perfectly reusable wood.
With our buyback program, you flip that equation entirely: instead of paying for disposal, you get paid for pallets. We handle all the logistics, including pickup from your location with our own trucks and crew. There is nothing for you to do except point us to the pallets and sign for payment.
We accept pallets in every condition — from pristine Grade A Premium pallets that command top dollar, to broken scrap that we recycle for free. Either way, your disposal cost drops to zero and nothing goes to the landfill. It is a true win-win-win: you save money, earn revenue, and help the environment.
Our buyback program has helped over 200 businesses in the Wichita area eliminate pallet disposal costs completely. The average client saves $800 per month by switching from traditional disposal to our buyback program. Many earn significantly more.

Buyback Pricing Guide — 6 Grades
Pricing depends on pallet condition, size, and quantity. Here are our typical ranges for standard 48" x 40" pallets across all six grades. Contact us for an exact quote tailored to your inventory.
Grade A Premium
Like-new, immaculate, retail-ready
Top-tier pricing reserved for pallets in pristine condition. These pallets look virtually new with clean, bright wood and zero defects. They re-enter the supply chain for retail display, pharmaceutical distribution, and export markets where appearance matters.
Grade A Standard
Excellent condition, all boards intact, minimal wear
Strong pricing for pallets in excellent functional and visual condition. Minor cosmetic blemishes are acceptable, but structural integrity must be perfect. Ideal for resale into general warehouse, shipping, and logistics markets.
Grade B
Good condition, minor wear, fully functional
Fair pricing for pallets with minor cosmetic issues but full structural integrity. May have light staining, minor board repairs, or surface wear from normal use. These pallets are great for warehouse and shipping reuse where appearance is secondary to function.
Grade C
Moderate wear, repairable, still useful
We accept pallets with moderate wear that retain good repair potential. These pallets are rebuilt at our facility with replacement boards and returned to productive service, keeping functional wood out of landfills and giving the pallet a second life.
Grade D
Heavy wear, significant damage, still repairable
Pallets with significant damage that still have enough intact material to justify repair. We salvage usable boards and stringers, combining components from multiple Grade D pallets to produce refurbished units. Every board we save is one less board manufactured from new lumber.
Scrap / Broken
Beyond repair, recyclable wood only
Even completely broken pallets have value to us. We collect scrap pallets at no charge and recycle the wood into mulch, animal bedding, biomass fuel, and landscaping materials. Zero cost to you, zero waste to landfill. We turn your trash into a renewable resource.
Volume-Based Pricing Tiers
The more pallets you sell us, the more you earn per pallet. Our volume tier program rewards consistent, high-volume sellers with premium pricing and perks.
| Tier | Monthly Volume | Price Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 20-99 pallets/month | Base pricing |
| Bronze | 100-249 pallets/month | +$0.25/pallet |
| Silver | 250-499 pallets/month | +$0.50/pallet |
| Gold | 500-999 pallets/month | +$0.75/pallet |
| Platinum | 1,000-2,499 pallets/month | +$1.00/pallet |
| Enterprise | 2,500+ pallets/month | Custom pricing |
Revenue Calculator Example: A business selling 500 Grade B pallets per month at Gold tier earns $3.00 base + $0.75 bonus = $3.75/pallet x 500 = $1,875/month. That is $22,500 per year in revenue from pallets that would otherwise be thrown away.
16-Point Condition Assessment
Every pallet we buy is evaluated against 16 standardized checkpoints. This ensures fair, consistent, and transparent grading every time.
Deck Board Integrity
All top and bottom deck boards inspected for cracks, splits, breaks, and missing sections.
Stringer / Block Condition
Load-bearing stringers or blocks checked for cracks, notch damage, and structural soundness.
Nail & Fastener Security
Every nail and staple inspected to ensure flush seating. Protruding or loose fasteners are flagged.
Board Alignment
Boards must be properly aligned and square. Shifted or twisted boards reduce grade classification.
Moisture Content
Wood tested for excessive moisture that could indicate rot risk. Kiln-dried pallets receive bonus points.
Mold & Fungus Check
Visual inspection for mold, mildew, or fungal growth. Surface mold may be acceptable; deep growth downgrades.
Staining Assessment
Oil, chemical, or food stains evaluated. Light staining is acceptable for Grade B; heavy staining reduces to C or D.
Dimensional Accuracy
Pallet dimensions measured to ensure they match standard sizes within acceptable tolerance (+/- 0.5 inches).
Weight Bearing Test
Spot-check load testing on random samples to verify the pallet can safely hold its rated capacity.
Fork Entry Clearance
Fork entry points inspected for obstructions, damage, or narrowing that could impede forklift use.
Edge & Corner Damage
Corners and edges checked for chips, breaks, or rounding that could affect stacking stability.
Previous Repair Quality
Any prior repairs are evaluated for quality. Professional repairs maintain grade; amateur repairs may downgrade.
Treatment Markings
ISPM-15 stamps and heat treatment markings verified if present. Certified pallets receive premium classification.
Contamination Screening
Pallets screened for chemical contamination, hazardous material residue, or pest infestation.
Overall Aesthetic Grade
Final visual assessment for retail-readiness. Clean, bright wood scores higher than dark, weathered wood.
Structural Load Path
The complete load transfer path from deck to stringer to bottom board is verified for continuous integrity.

Environmental Credits & Certificates
Every pallet you sell through our buyback program generates measurable environmental savings. We track these savings meticulously and provide you with official environmental impact certificates at no additional cost.
These certificates document the specific number of trees saved, pounds of CO2 prevented, gallons of water conserved, and cubic yards of landfill space diverted through your participation. They are formatted for direct inclusion in ESG reports, sustainability audits, and corporate responsibility communications.
For businesses with formal sustainability programs, our environmental certificates provide the hard data you need to demonstrate tangible progress toward your environmental goals. Several of our clients have used these certificates to earn green business certifications, win sustainability awards, and strengthen their brand reputation.
Per-Pallet Environmental Impact
Based on lumber content of a standard pallet
Logging, milling, transport, and methane avoidance
Water used in lumber processing and manufacturing
Energy for new pallet manufacturing vs. reuse

Buyback Program FAQ
Answers to the most common questions about our pallet buyback program
Is there a minimum quantity for pickup?
For free pickup, we ask for a minimum of 20 pallets. Smaller quantities can be dropped off at our facility during business hours (Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm). For recurring pickup clients, we can accommodate any volume after the initial pickup meets the 20-pallet minimum. We also offer shared-route pickups for businesses with fewer than 20 pallets if you are located near an existing pickup route.
How do you determine the grade of my pallets?
Our team uses a standardized 16-point condition assessment at every pickup. We inspect board integrity, stringer condition, nail security, moisture content, staining, dimensional accuracy, and more. Grading is done on-site in your presence so you can observe and ask questions. We document everything with a detailed receipt listing the quantity at each grade level. Our grading standards are consistent and transparent — the same pallet will receive the same grade regardless of who inspects it.
Do you accept non-standard sized pallets?
Yes! We buy pallets of all sizes, not just 48x40. We actively purchase 48x48 drum pallets, 42x42 telecom pallets, 36x36 beverage pallets, 48x45 automotive pallets, 60x48 oversized pallets, and any custom dimension. Non-standard sizes may have different pricing based on current market demand, but we accept and price everything. In some cases, unusual sizes command premium pricing because they are harder to source.
Can I set up recurring buyback pickups?
Absolutely. In fact, over 70% of our buyback clients are on recurring schedules. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, and on-call pickup programs. Recurring clients enjoy volume tier pricing bonuses (up to +$1.00 per pallet), dedicated account representatives, priority scheduling, and automatic payment processing. Many clients start with monthly pickups and graduate to weekly as they realize how much simpler it makes their operations.
What payment methods do you offer?
We offer five payment options: same-day check (issued on-site at pickup), ACH direct deposit (1-2 business days), wire transfer (same day for transactions over $5,000), purchase credit (with a 5% bonus), and Net-30 consolidated billing for recurring clients. You can choose a different method for each pickup or set a default for your account. Most recurring clients prefer ACH for convenience.
What if my pallets are a mix of different grades?
Mixed loads are our specialty — in fact, the vast majority of pickups involve pallets of varying conditions. Our team sorts and grades every pallet individually at your location. You receive a detailed breakdown showing exactly how many pallets were graded at each tier, with the corresponding per-pallet rate and total for each grade. This ensures you get maximum value for your best pallets while still receiving payment or free recycling for your worst ones.
Do you provide environmental certificates or sustainability documentation?
Yes! Every buyback client receives complimentary environmental impact certificates documenting the trees saved, CO2 prevented, water conserved, and landfill waste diverted through their participation. These certificates are available per-pickup or as annual summaries and are formatted for inclusion in ESG reports, sustainability audits, and corporate responsibility communications. Gold tier and above clients receive detailed quarterly sustainability reports.
How quickly can you schedule my first pickup?
We respond to all buyback inquiries within 24 hours. For Wichita metro area clients (Zone 1), we can typically schedule your first pickup within 2-3 business days. Regional clients (Zone 2) are usually scheduled within 3-5 business days, and extended area clients (Zone 3) within 5-7 business days. For urgent situations with large quantities (500+), we offer expedited same-day or next-day pickup when available.
Are there any pallets you will NOT buy?
We accept wood pallets of virtually any condition, but we cannot accept pallets contaminated with hazardous chemicals, toxic substances, or radioactive materials. Pallets used to ship pesticides, industrial solvents, or other dangerous goods may be excluded depending on the level of contamination. We also do not currently buy plastic or metal pallets, though we can provide referrals to recyclers who handle those materials. When in doubt, send us a photo and we will let you know.
What happens to the pallets after you buy them?
Grade A and B pallets are inspected, cleaned if necessary, and resold to businesses that need quality used pallets. Grade C and D pallets go to our repair facility where skilled technicians replace damaged boards and hardware, restoring them to Grade A or B condition for resale. Scrap pallets are dismantled and the wood is recycled into mulch, animal bedding, biomass fuel, and landscaping products. Nothing goes to the landfill — ever.
Can I get a quote before committing to a pickup?
Of course. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all buyback inquiries. For small quantities, send us photos via email and we will provide an estimate within 24 hours. For larger quantities (100+), we offer a free on-site assessment where a team member visits your location, inspects the pallets, and provides a detailed quote broken down by grade and quantity. There is absolutely no pressure or commitment required to get a quote.
Do your prices change seasonally?
Pallet market pricing can fluctuate based on supply and demand, lumber costs, and seasonal factors. Generally, demand (and prices) tend to be higher in Q3 and Q4 as businesses stock up for holiday shipping season. However, our volume tier pricing provides rate stability for recurring clients. Gold, Platinum, and Enterprise tier clients receive locked-in rates that are reviewed quarterly rather than fluctuating with daily market conditions.
